Care and organization

Pack a riding-day kit you can check quickly

Organize equipment by when it is needed and who uses it.

2 minute read ยท Updated September 17, 2026

A repeatable packing list reduces last-minute searching. Build it around your actual riding day, location and equipment requirements. Separate rider gear, horse equipment, paperwork and consumables so a missing item is easy to notice.

Work through it

  1. Start with the items required for the planned activity and venue. Check size, condition and any certification or paperwork requirements in advance.
  2. Pack frequently used items where they are accessible. Keep clean clothing separate from wet or dirty equipment and use labels for shared gear.
  3. Review the kit after the day. Refill used supplies, dry equipment as directed and update the list with anything you repeatedly needed but did not bring.

Check your result

  • The list matches the venue and activity.
  • Used supplies are replenished.
  • Wet equipment is dealt with before storage.
