Make useful riding apparel fit notes

Riding clothing needs to work seated, standing and moving. Keep a short record of garments that fit well, including brand, style and actual measurements where available. A size in one cut may not match another cut from the same maker.

Work through it

1. Check the exact product’s size chart and whether it describes body or garment measurements. Record your measurements using the same method and units.
2. Evaluate waistband comfort, leg length and freedom through the knee and hip. Try the footwear and base layers you intend to use.
3. Review material, care and return information before deciding. Keep tags and packaging intact while following the seller’s try-on conditions.
